Homeland Security Chief Says Illegal Aliens A Threat to Environment

In a recent telephone interview, Department of Homeland Security Chief, Michael Chertoff announced that the real threat to the environment is Mexicans Crossing into the US Illegally.

No, I'm not joking, this is the man who is in charge of keeping us safe. He believes that trash left around the border is the biggest threat to the environment we face. Yahoo news quoted Chertoff saying

"Illegal migrants really degrade the environment. I've seen pictures of human waste, garbage, discarded bottles and other human artifact in pristine areas," Chertoff said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press. "And believe me, that is the worst thing you can do to the environment."

Never mind the fact this man has absolutely no training as a scientist, never mind this man claimed his gut was telling him about a terrorist attack, because in the summer, it's hot. Never mind the attack never came close to materializing. Let's focus on the fact, that the best reason our homeland security chief can come up with for the border fence, is that it will help the environment. Not because terrorists might be able to enter the country through an unprotected border, never mind drugs, and guns, and god knows a ton of other things that can harm the American people can get smuggled across that border. How much longer do we have to deal with an administration that is top to bottom incompetent?
