Man Carrying Rifle Arrested On St. John's Campus

One person carrying a rifle in a bag was arrested on the St. John's Queens campus Wednesday afternoon, police said. He appeared to have a President Bush mask, according to preliminary information from law enforcement officials.
wnbc reports that according to police sources the man is of Guyanese descent and is apparently a student.
Police asked students and faculty members across the campus to stay indoors for their safety. There was also a large police presence on the campus. Areas near the site of the man's apprehension have now been locked down.
Authorities also said they were possibly looking for more suspects, besides this guy.
