9 Months After a Series of Blizzards, Colorado Sees Baby Boom

by wiccania.
Denver area hospitals are reporting a marked increase in the number of babies born this month, approximately 9 months after a series of blizzards kept Coloradans snuggled up indoors.
What do you do when weather or other occurrences keep you stuck indoors for a prolonged period of time? Well...

According to 9News.com, one obstetrician reported a 20% increase in the number of babies born this month, and a Louisville hospital has had "Blizzard Baby" t-shirts made for newborns.

Last winter was quite interesting, Colorado was buried under a series of blizzards and snow storms through late December and mid-January. Personally, all I did was shovel the driveway a few times a week and laugh as the dog ran through snow that was deeper than he was tall. But with all of the terrible going on in the world these days, it's nice to see life going on.
