Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran's leader, declares Tuesday that Iran's nuclear program is closed as a political issue and says Tehran will ignore the U.N. Security Council's Demand.
Yahoo News Reports, that during the U.N. General Assembly he told world leaders that Iran has chose to continue pursuing the monitoring of their nuclear program,
through its appropriate legal path
, the International Atomic Energy Agency, which is the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency.

Following a brief speech by the Iranian President, German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned the delegation that if Iran were to aquire a nuclear bomb that there would be
disastrous consequences

The world does not have to prove to Iran that Iran is building a nuclear bomb. Iran has to convince the world that it is not striving towards such a bomb

Following the end of the assembly, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News that Ahmadinejad should not have been invited to address the General Assembly.
