Serie A champions Inter Milan said Monday they will appeal the three-game suspension a sports judge handed down on defender Douglas Maicon for kicking an opponent at the weekend, repubblica.it reported.
The 26-year-old Brazilian was sent off Sunday after kicking Albanian forward Erion Bogdani, who was already on the ground after a clash.
Maicon's dismissal left Inter with 10 men in the last nine minutes of the game they drew 2-2 at the Tuscany underdogs. dpa ac wjh
