Many times we send personal e-mails and tell others not to circulate, but most of the time they are circulated anyway (and forwarded to many people). In some cases, you don't want sensitive information to be forwarded such as hyperlinks.
HideLinks is an online service that helps you password protect any web URL (hyperlink) easily. At, you have to enter the URL and a password, HideLinks will then generate an encrypted URL. This secret URL can be opened only with the password that you entered earlier.
When you send the e-mail address with the URL, the snooper will have a hard time opening this web URL. Without the password, they cannot open the URL and thus you can protect sensitive information.
