Britney Spears charged in LA parking lot crash

by RobotGod.
Britney Spears legal woes mounted Friday as prosecutors charged her with misdemeanor counts of hit and run and driving without a valid license after she allegedly smashed her car into another in a parking lot in August.
Yahoo reports that if she is convicted, the singer could face up to six months in jail as well as a $1,000 fine for each count.

Spears was filmed by paparazzi that day as she steered her car into another vehicle. She was trying to turn into a spot in a Studio City parking lot. After looking over the damage to her own car and not the other car, she was shown on paparazzi video walking away.

Fast forward to 3 days later. The owner of the other vehicle, Kim Robard-Rifkin, filed a police report, and investigators later determined that Spears has no license.

Robard-Rifkin, only know that Britney hit her car when she saw a video posted on the celebrity Web site CelebTV.com.

"I simply want my car fixed, the same as I would fix somebody's car if I had done that," Robard-Rifkin told the site in August.

This case comes just days after she was ordered to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week in her child custody dispute.

Britney needs to change her ways. Things are not going well for her at all right now.
