You want to try the shoes; you can ignore the snake on your own peril. If the thief wants to take it he must not only evade the security cameras but also this poisonous snake.
The snake might have been an effective tool during the Pharaohs’ time but it will be a sitting duck with all the modern weapons and tools that the thieves have at their disposal.
Harrods owned by Mohammad Al-Fayed, may have tried this snake as a shock factor, the price tag itself is sufficient though.
A Harrods spokeswoman admitted that the cobra had been hired strictly for Monday’s launch of the shoe collection. The snake has been returned to its rightful owner.
