article imageKelsey Grammer Will Speak For Dead Sister If Freddie Lee Glenn Makes Parole Bid

By KJ Mullins     Sep 9, 2007 in Crime
Kelsey Grammer's sister was murdered in 1975. Fifty year old Freddie Lee Glenn is in prison for that murder. In January he could have a bid for parole. Grammer says if he tries then his voice will be there for Karen Grammer.
Karen Grammer was kidnapped and murdered during a robbery attempt that Freddie Lee Glenn and two other men were part of at the Red Lobster she worked at in Colorado Springs. The young eighteen year old sister of Kelsey Grammer died after Fisher slashed her throat.
Fisher was sentenced to three life terms for multiple crimes including the murder of Grammer. His convictions were for murder, second-degree kidnapping and armed robbery. His original sentence was for the death penalty but that was commuted when the laws changed to life in prison.
In January he becomes eligible for parole. He has until December to decide to waive the attempt for parole or to pursue it.
If he pursues it Kelsey Grammer will be ready to speak up for his sister Karen.
Grammer says he's still angry about Glenn. He also says he never had a chance to speak for his sister before, but will now if Glenn tries to get out of prison.
