These gadgets, pictured left, could be the next generation of iPod nanos. The site 9to5macs seems to have a mole somewhere in a manufacturing plant in China, where the iPod nanos are reportedly being made.
It's that time of year again. "Refresh" and "New" are common in describing the latest iPods, but in this case I don't really think so. This image shows what appears to be the "latest" creation out of 1 Infinite Loop, a newly resigned iPod Nano. The image shows a flattened, squished version of an iPod Nano with a much larger screen. Many commenter's on the site
9to5mac say thats this is just a fake. But could it be real?
One reason why it might be very possible is because of the screen size. Apple is continuing its growth in sales of digital media. The iTunes Store is a great success, selling music,TV shows and now movies. If Apple wants to sell more videos it should want their consumers to be able to access their media on the top selling iPod, the nano.
There all only four devices that currently can play Apples encrypted video format; the IPod (with video), iPhone , AppleTV and PCs. But all in all, it would just be a fake. We'll all find out on September 25 at Apple Expo Paris.
