Bad news for most eligible Harry Potter fans-cum-bachelors as Hermione hasn't fallen for a Quidditch player but a rugby player, Tom Ducker who has been signed for Wasps rugby club. The couple met in Watson's hometown of Oxford, the
original report adds.
They were seen clubbing away, dining together in a costly restaurant in southern coastal resort Eze, near Nice. Also, the starlet saw a painting in the restaurant and liked it so much that she offered to buy it but the owner refused as it was not up for sale. The painting in question was by an Italian artist Ben Vautier and reads "Je suis incognito ici, faites le savoir" - translated into English, "I'm incognito here, tell everybody" - almost summing up the evening for the young lady.
The owner of the restaurant said that the couple looked very much in love and seemed to enjoy each other's company. With the Mediterranean Sea just in front, music in the background, a sumptuous meal and a young couple in love - it could not have got any more romantic than this.
But, Ducker's father John played a spoilsport to the news quoted as saying, "They are just friends – don't read anything more into it than that. My wife and I have met Emma once or twice. She is a lovely young lady."
Well, the bachelor fans couldn't agree more with the older Ducker!
