Keith Richards in his original interview said he snorted his father’s ashes along with cocaine and then he and his publicists quickly denied it saying he was misquoted. Today he clarified his quote and said he did snort his Father’s ashes but not coca
There was an earlier article by Muse about Keith Richards, the famous Rolling Stones’ guitarist, in which he said he snorted his father’s ashes along with cocaine. But after that story there was uproar, even though Keith didn’t care, his publicists tried to quash the story saying Keith was misquoted in that article.
Keith Richards told NME.com that the cocaine bit was rubbish, not true; rather he chopped and snorted his Father’s ashes like cocaine and not along with it. Even this looks odd and awful.
He said he accidentally dropped some of his father’s ashes from the urn on to the dining room table. He didn’t feel like cleaning it with a vacuum, instead decided to snort it. Even to think of such a thing is bizarre.
He gave the following reasoning for doing this:
"What I found out is that ingesting your ancestors is a very respectable way of... y'know, he went down a treat."
In the article, he also said he will live up to 150 years. Hopefully somebody will talk to him about not desecrating his father’s ashes; otherwise he will end up doing all of it, if he lives up to 150 years.
