A musical about terrorism and the threat to Britain from Al-Qaeda? It is already being performed on stage at the Edinburgh Festival. It features such classics as "Building a bomb today, what does the manual say" and "I wanna be like Osama".
ThisIsLondon says that it has already sparked protests and it is billed as a "madcap gallop through the wacky world of international terrorism".
On his Downing Street website, a petition has been launched for the Prime Minister to condemn the musical.
The producer did not seem worried.
"We have no intention of causing offence or insult with this show, It is simply a musical comedy."
The plot centers on a young Afghan peasant who dreams of being a flower farmer selling poppies. But when a Jihad cell plots to blow up Western targets, his plans are side-tracked.
It always amazes me how quick people are to whip up petitions and get all offended by someone else's right to create their art. You do not have to like, or agree with everything. Just because you do not agree, you have no right to try to silence another's vision.
I hope it plays for a long time.
