This week on Behind The Citizen Journalist, Chris, David and Alex duke it out in a special edition article. Find out just how smart they are and if they really do know their Citizen Journalists.
Welcome to another star-studded edition of Behind The CJ. The Digital Journal Muse-letter that takes a look at the people behind the news.
This week it will be a battle of wits as Chris Hogg(editor In Chief),David Silverberg and Alex P. Keaton(That's not right is it?) play a DJ version of Jeopardy.
What do they know about us? Do they actually read and remember what we write? Have they been paying attention to this column? We are about to find out.
Let's meet our contestants.
This is...DJ Jeopardy!
You already know them, so we will dispense with the pleasantries. And don't for a moment think that you guys will be playing for that kind of money. That is there to tease you. You will be playing for 14 cents a question, just like you pay us! haha.
Let's take a look at our categories and begin.
haha Once again, pay no attention to the $$$. It's 14 cents for every correct answer gentlemen. You all know the rules so let's begin.
The categories are: What's in a name?, All things Muse, Girls of DJ, Alter egos and DJ Mix. Chris, let's begin with you.

I'll take What's in a name? for 200. Sorry. I mean, 14 cents.

Who is
Wanderlaugh?

Very nice. Quick on that one. That puts you 14 cents in the lead.

Lets try "What's in a name?" for another 14 cents, Muse.

Who is Milano4Ever?

Muse just looks at Chris.

I think I got you on this one. I know this is not the answer you were expecting, but the guy does exist:
user/3643/profile

Oh...So sorry Chris. You were right, that was not the answer I was looking for. Don't try to get cute with me on my own game show ok? Remember, I decide whether you get your 14 cents or not.
*Alex buzzes in quickly with excitement*
Malan!

Oh...I'm sorry Alex. That was not in the form of a question. Very unfortunate. David?

Who is
malan?

Correct. Good job david. What will it be next?

I'll take Alter egos.
*Chris buzzes in*

Who is
cgull?

That's right. As in Johnathan Livingston Seagull or our own
cgull.

I'll choose DJ mix Muse.

Alex once again. Very fast on the button.(David pushes his button as if to complain it isn't working)
Posthappy?
Silence. We all look at Alex questioningly.

ok...

haha my buzzer works. What is Spoken Word? (This question is confusing, because is WWF the World Wildlife Fund, or World Wrestling Federation? Other?)

oh too bad. You were on the right track. david?

What is poetry slam?

Good job. Do you have a pasttime involving
Posthappy that you would like to share? Choose a new category David.

Girls of DJ

Ahhh. David's button works after all.

What is
AmaRant?

hmmm....Judges?(the judges nod sadly from the sidelines.) I'm sorry David. Yes Chris?

What is an
Amarant?

Exactly right. What is "an"
amarant? Very important distinction, I'm afraid.

Let's try "What's In a Name?"

Lightning fast on that button now David. Your answer?

Who is
gohomelaker?

Good job on that one. Our very own GHL.

Let's see where our contestants stand score-wise. David is in the lead with 28 cents. Chris is close behind him with 14 cents. Looks like Alex has some catching up to do, he is in 3rd place with negative 28 cents. Your pick David.

Let's try "All things Muse"
*The tension mounts as they think. Finally Chris buzzes in*

What is Lost?

Very good. Excellent show.
Picasso watches while eating twinkies you know.

All things Muse, Muse.

Go ahead Alex. You obviously know this one.

"abmuse"?

Stunned....Can I just say wtf? Do you even know how to play this game Alex? I have the answers. You give me the questions. Simple. Have you ever heard the term "abmuse" on DJ?(Throws some cue cards in the air) David hits the button, brimming with confidence.

What are musings?

That was a good guess david. But not what I was looking for. Do you guys even read DJ? I'm afraid you lose 14 cents. Here's your chance Chris. I am sure you know the answer as it was you who coined the phrase.

This one is easy Muse. What are retarded robot mumblings? =P

*Muse tries to remain calm, cool and collected. It is amazing this site ever got off the ground with such geniuses as these.* Ah...No Chris, that was not it. The answer we were looking for is "Muse-isms". Not, in fact, retarded robot rumblings. Never fear Chris, you always fail to amuse... Your pick.

How about Girls Of DJ?
*Muse chuckles to himself....How about them indeed..*
*It appears that now Chris' button is stuck, allowing David to beat him*

Who is
Planet Janet?

You got it, David.

Let's try Alter-egos Muse

My button is still stuck.*looks frustrated as he squeezes and pushes it*

Please be quiet Chris. You'll have your turn. David just buzzed in and I need to hear him. David?

Who is
momentsintime?

Someone is on fire. That's right.

Let's finish Alter-egos

Bad luck David. Your article has been deactivated. You must have had some serious spelling errors. That's too bad. We will have to deduct 14 cents.

How about Girls of DJ?

Muse, my button...

Please Chris. You know the rules. Alex has just beat you. Let's hear what he has to say.

*takes a deep breath. He is calm and appears to be in a zen place. When he speaks he is calculated. This one is his. Then he blurts out....*
Jaguar!

ok...Alex. It might have been better if you said, "Who is
Jaguar?" Sorry, Alex.*Muse eyes the producer who said this would be a good idea* Looks like Chris has buzzed in.

Who is
Jaguar?

Correct. Give her a hand and you get more then you bargained for.

DJ Mix

Congratulations Chris. You got an upvote. That was an easy 14 cents.

Let's finish off DJ Mix.

*Sees that Alex has buzzed in again and sighs* What is it Alex?
Mike Huckabee (hehe, i just couldn't resist, real answer:
Lightening)

Ok Alex. You clearly don't get the whole question thing. I'm awarding you 28 cents, cuz that was too damn funny. Looks like we are down to our last question.

muse-puss? oil?

I'm not touching that one. But no...Just no...Chris chimes in just in time. What say you Chris?

What is Muse's fantasy?

Oh...No...I'm sorry Chris. The answer was, "
How did I get my name?" though that would make an interesting fantasy.
Let's tally up the scores shall we? Well, I can't believe it. We have a tie for first place between Chris and David at 28 cents each. Unfortunately, Alex is our runner-up with negative 14 cents. There are no tie-breakers, so all that's left to do is pay our contestants.
It appears that we are out of time anyway. This has been another edition of "Behind The Citizen Journalist". Join us next time. Same time. Same channel.
*Theme music plays while I make fake small talk with Chris, Alex and david. Alex seems upset.*
