The category Lifestyle doesn't really suit this article, but there is not a category for everything in general so it will do. As each year passes, I become more and more skeptical about what is actual truth and just some rumor or creative idea.
I think it's wonderful that we have been blessed with the holey hand of creativity. But in this case, creativity has overrun most of human population. People start allowing things to get out of hand though, which may cause problems.
There is no such thing as to much creativity, but then there becomes a point where your creativity may be called lying. I think that creative lying has become a huge issue these past couple of years, and the worst part about it, is that you never know who is doing it.
Technology is something that has helped progress this issue. With each new computer software, physical hardware, and innovative new fad, it becomes more and more possible to create a new world; to quote the late Freddie Mercury's Bohemian Rhapsody "Is this the real life, or is it just Fantasy?"
I think that some of it is usually in good humor. Take my photo for example. Using Adobe software, I have allowed myself to become pals with the Muppet Gang. Is it true? Obviously not. It's obvious that it's all in good humor, because of the subject matter. But when you start to see creating horrid images, it makes you wonder if it's real or not.
I think that is the problem. More and more people are realizing this now, and they are using imagery to convince people that this is the real world. That every image you see is true.
So no matter what you see on the internet today, the news, or even hear on the radio, you will always be wondering whether it is real or not. There will always be that moment of doubt or belief, and it is becoming hard to tell the difference.
