In connection with the Memorial Day crash, Lohan surrenders herself to police.
Is this part of her making restitution and will she see jail time as a result? Only time and a good judge will tell....
Beverly Hills, California - Lyndsay Lohan, along with her lawyer has surrendered herself to police in connection with her Memorial Day crash.
Having left rehab last week for the second time, Lohan finally gave herself in..

I wonder why it took so long? Where is her conscience?

Lohan crashed her car after loosing control and jumping the curb on Sunset Blvd back in May. She then jumped into another vehicle and went straight to the hospital. Even though no one is saying how high her blood alcohol level was at the time, she is being charged with DUI and a misdemeanor charge of "hit and run".

And get this: she has been released on her own recognizance while she awaits for her August 24th court date...

Ahhh to be rich, young and stupid just the same. The spotlight will get you every time.

Do you think Lohan will serve time just like Paris Hilton did or will she walk away from this charge? And do we care?

In a June article it was intimated that Lohan may have had cocaine in her system as well. I suspect the hospital would have done tests to prove or disprove this at the time, but no further reference has been given.

I say give her time in jail to rethink her wild ways.
