Bjork Returns to North America in Fall 2007

by JustJoe.
Bjork has just put the finishing touches on her new release, "Volta" (One Little Indian/Elektra) and will be hitting the road in support of the album this fall. Several major events highlight her tour schedule with headlining slots at Madison Square
Garden, featuring special guests, a trip to Austin City Limits Festival and an appearance at Toronto's Virgin Music Festival. The new album is gaining rave reviews in all of the major media outlets (Rolling Stone, NY Times, Spin, Washington Post, Filter).

The album, itself, features several collaborations. Three tracks, "Innocence", "Earth Intruders" and "Hope" were produced by Timbaland, who is enjoying a major hot streak (Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Gwen Stefani). Other collaborators include Malian kora player Toumani Diabate and Congolese band, Konono No. 1.

Bjork's "Volta" North American Tour :

09-08 Toronto, Ontario - Virgin Festival
09-11 Detroit, MI - Fox Theatre
09-14 Austin, TX - Zilker Park (Austin City Limits Festival)
09-17 Atlanta, GA - Fox Theatre
09-21 Montreal, British Columbia - Jacques Cartier Pier
