After much debate, Colorado homeowners association has decided to allow resident Beth Hammer to continue displaying an American flag on her home upside-down -- a longstanding sign of distress.
Following up to this previously posted article, Beth Hammer's homeowners association has decided to allow her to continue displaying the American flag upside down. They still say that she is in violation of their policy and the Federal Flag Code. In a statement that the HOA issued, they said
That the best interests of all the Association's members would not be served by pursuing enforcement under these specific circumstances.
They also said that she will not be fined, nor will she be requested to alter the displayed flag.
