Bill Gates x PetroChina + 2008 Beijing Olympics = Genocide

by JustJoe.
Lucky 7's (07/07/07) seems to be the theme of the day. While other people choose to get married, go to Las Vegas or participate in other "lucky" things on this day, I find myself focused on the "unlucky" in Africa, the Darfur area, to be specific.
American media outlets (CNN, FoxNews, CBS, NBC, ABC, etc) continue to cover "groundbreaking" stories regarding this genocide, but they only knick the surface on the urgency and unapologetic slaughter taking place. Most of us switch stations when the mere mention of "Darfur" is said. There is a large stigma that we have about Africa, as a whole, that is really sad and a letdown.

The collective disinterest in the Darfur genocide stems from all of the major events that have raised millions to fight the issues that plague Africa, yet still persist. If you want to know the "cliff notes" version of the Darfur conflict, I've included various bullet points with website links for verification.

Follow the train of thought and see how involved we are in the human genocide of Darfur. The money trail leads right to our own backyards and it's definitely an eye opener.
