Ron Paul continues to spread his message of freedom, which seems to be very well received, if fund raising is any indicator. He has now surpassed even one of the frontrunners when it comes to cash on hand.
Ron Paul’s campaign is now number three when it comes to cash on hand. While Giuliani and Romney still have several million dollars more than Dr. Paul, the good news for Paul supporters is that the maverick candidate doesn’t spend nearly as much as they do. He doesn’t have to.
In fact, comments following the article linked below sum up his position very well, showing that others pay for promotion while Ron Paul has a knack for inspiring people to promote him. Another supporter commented that she may well sell her home and use the profits to promote Ron Paul. Overall, the majority of comments were very positive.
With nearly half a million dollars more cash on hand than frontrunner John McCain currently has, this “odd man out” in the Republican field seems to be making great strides. While he still isn’t showing very well in some polls, and some outlets claim that online polls are “spammed” by a handful of supporters, the numbers (dollar amounts) belie these statistics. Fundraising efforts indicate increasing support for Paul’s strong, consistent, constitutional platform.
The ten-term Republican Congressman and current presidential candidate is quoted as saying:
"I think people have underestimated the number of people in this country who are interested in a freedom message.”
