Don't panic, Batman will still be around, but not the name. The release for the New Batman movie, titled "The Dark knight" is already creating hype. We look forward to the 2008 release, but for now, we'll just have to enjoy these snap shots.
What could be more sinister then a guy running around, dressed in black, and posing as a Bat (rhyming un-initially )? Well, now that he is now known as The Dark Knight (original comic book title), he is all that more bad ass.
With an explosive cast role, The Dark Knight is ready to write history, in this case, rewrite cinematic history. Once again, Christian Bale is the fearless crusader Batman, Micheal Cain lends his hand as the loyal Alfred, and Morgan Freeman poses as the genius Lucious Fox. Joining the cast will be Heath Ledger as the psychotic Joker and William Fitchner as the Bank Manager.
Unfortunately, the person playing as Two-Face has not been reveled, but we can all expect a pleasant surprise since they have kept it a secret this long.
Now for your pleasure, some photos that have been taken from the Film, and as well as on the set.
