Cave Home To Stay Exactly The Way It Is

By Janice Ambrose     Jul 5, 2007 in Business
Rock Cottage, the cave home, situated in Worcestershire, England, has been sold for one hundred thousand pounds. The cave home was sold yesterday, on auction and attracted visitors from as far afield as Spain.
Although, Rock Cottage, with it's own front door and a look of a 'home for hobbits', guide price was twenty five thousand pounds, it sold for the amount of one hundred thousand pounds. A neighbour bought the property , and wants to keep it, exactly how it is.
Auctioneer Roger Sadler said,
"We are very pleased. You don't sell caves very often but it was a unique property that attracted an unbelievable amount of interest."
It is questionable whether Rock Cottage, with no electricity or water, but does boast windows, a sitting room, pantry and one bedroom is suitable for human habitation.
