Have you yearned for those days when you found wonder in a toy and joy in playing in the snow? Go back to that special puerile time at the expense of being called immature by those who might not even be in the know.
Return with us now to those golden days of yesteryear when a bath meant an excursion around the tub with your favorite rubber duckie. Mommy watched carefully to make sure your favorite songs weren’t coming from a radio balanced precariously at the edge of the tub where one slip, and well, you know the rest.

Now you can listen to music and play with your rubber ducky in the privacy of your own mortgaged bathroom! No one need know and what do you care about how mature your friends think you are anyway? Lying back in the bubbles with your favorite rubber friend is the classic distraction from life, n’est ce pas?

The Ducky Radio covers both AM and FM wavebands to accomodate your particular tastes, which may range from “White Christmas” to “I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles.”

Your ducky, your choice.

The controls are very simple. Simply twist ducky’s head to turn the radio on and adjust the volume. The 3 AAA batteries will last through many baths and perhaps even past your own infancy, but no one can say for sure. Press his wing to select AM or FM and rotate his tail to tune in your favorite station! Available in funky pink or yellow, everything about this ducky is waterproof and the base is nicely weighted so that ducky always floats.

Can’t say the same for you or your mind, but have fun singin’ and cleanin’ in the rain anyway!

Thats nice, I have heard shower radios where they hang it in the shower, this is also neat, water proof.

Safer than the old way to have music while you bathe.

    Hi Cruiseroo and Permafrog,
I never thought about a swimming pool. Why not? And it sure is safer than the old time radios perched on the edge of a tub.
Thank you both for your thoughts.

Aside from a little animal cruelty, twist the poor things head and rotate its tail, I like permafrogs idea of the pool.
The tub for me won't work as I gave up the tub for showers long ago.

Cute idea. I agree that it would be good in a pool for the adults - or jacuzzi/hot tub. Adorable!

Sounds fun! I have a portable waterproof phone that I always take into the shower. It is coloured yellow and black and I always call it my ducky, to the delight of people who think I am talking about something else ^_^.

    Touché, Bart!
I can't imagine talking on the phone in the shower, but whatever floats your boat.
Yes, this ducky radio does sound like a lot of fun. I would like to get one myself.
    Thanks for your thoughts.

Rubber ducky, you're the one! Too cute! Wouldn't mind having one in the pool or at the lake!

It is probably even harder than you think, MDee. The trouble is, your shower is running, your ears are full of water, and you are cooling off unpleasantly because you can't continue. It is a better idea while just sitting idly in your bath. Nevertheless, I love it, because as a bachelor I seem to always be doing something "unphony" when someone phones me.
