Fancy owning five acres of mixed woodland and garden land, along with Rock Cottage, a cave home with no water or electricity, but it does have it's own front door, windows and fireplaces, as well as a pantry, sitting room and a bedroom.
Rock Cottage, last occupied in the late 1940's is made out of a sandstone cliff near Wolverley, Worcestershire in England, and is being auctioned on Wednesday. The guide price is Twenty Five Thousand Pounds. It also comes with three adjoining caves and has generated requests of more than fifty viewings.
This sale offers a "unique opportunity". According to auctioneer Daniel Lovatt, of Halls Estate Agents, in Kedderminster.
This is a 'rare opportunity' to live in a cave, after all, how many people can say, they own a cave home. Also, the business opportunities are endless. It will be interesting to see just what this property sells for.
