A Group in Iowa has started a "Grassroots" campaign in order to try and convince Al Gore to join the presidential race.
He's said he's not running time and time and time again -- but that isn't stopping grassroots supporters who want former Vice President Al Gore to run for president.
Monday, the "Draft Gore Campaign" launched a 30 second video aimed at extolling his virtues.
"Mr. Gore we need you for president,"
this coming from a radio ad released simultaneously with the video
"We deserve a president we can respect."
Gore still has a strong group of supporters who desperately want him to join the campaign, and point to many polls that suggest the former Vice President would immediately vault into the top spot, should he enter the race.
More than 94,000 have signed the committee's online call to Gore, according to their site.
Gore says he has no plans to run for president, thought he hasn't ruled out a bid.
