Where's My Father's Day Card You Ungrateful Bastard?!

By Pamela Jean     Jun 21, 2007 in Crime
Seems Louis Peacock made a big error when he forgot to get dad a gift for Fathers Day. He was awakened at 8:50 pm Sunday night by his father Edwin, who was hitting him in the head with a crowbar. At his feet lay a bloody kitchen knife.
Well, you know what they say "spare the crowbar, spoil the child".
It's anyone's guess what exactly set Edwin Peacock, aged 69, into a murderous rage that Sunday evening. He shared a home with his 25 year old son Louis, who had been sleeping on the living room couch when the attack occurred.
Stunned and bleeding, Louis was discovered by police after his father had summoned authorities to a local Hy-Vee gas station, where Edwin fled following the bloody attack. Dad told the cops that he had hit his son on the head with a crowbar and wasn't certain if he was conscious.
Louis, when questioned by the police, stated that he was not angry with dear old dad for the beating.
Dad has been arrested and is being held on charges of aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery. He will not be released until his first court appearance.
I'll bet Louis remembers to get Dad a card next year!
