A British judge has sentenced a woman to two and a half years in jail for a bizarre attack on an ex-boyfriend. Incensed by his refusal to accept her advances, the woman flew into a rage and began physically assaulting the man, ripping a testicle off.
24 year old Amanda Monti agreed to pick up her ex-boyfriend, 37 year old Geoffrey Jones, from a party he was attending and take him home where they continued to drink with some friends. Their long-term relationship had been broken off a year earlier at the man's request but the couple had remained on good terms.
After an argument began between the two, Monti proceeded to physically assault him and a struggle ensued. The woman then pulled Jone's pants right off of his body and, while naked, managed to pull on his testicles so forcibly that his left testicle fell off into her hands, leaving the man in agonizing pain. It was at this moment that Monti, in an apparent state of psychosis, placed the testicle in her mouth and attempted to swallow it. Gagging and unable to swallow it, she spit it back out where it was handed back to its owner by a friend saying "That's yours".
Monti admitted to the assault and apologized in a letter to the court saying:
It was never my intention to cause harm to Geoff and the fact that I have caused him injury will live with me forever. I am in no way a violent person.
I have challenged myself to explain what has happened but still I just cannot remember. This has caused much anguish to me and will do for the rest of my life.
Lorena Bobbit never tried to eat any part of her man's genitals, she just cut it off and threw it away. Was Lorena missing out on something?
