Anonymous Letter Indicates Possible Site of Maddies Body

By Janice Ambrose     Jun 13, 2007 in Crime
The De Telegraaf daily received an anonymous letter giving details of where to find the body of a missing British girl who vanished in Portugal six weeks ago. The newspaper handed the letter to the police.
The letter was similar to the one it received last year which had indicated with some accuracy, the site where two missing Belgian girl's bodies were discovered at the end of June. The De Telegraaf did not publish the letter, but handed it to Amsterdam police who described it as important.
The letter will be passed on to Portuguese investigators.
Madeleine McCann, aged four, disappeared from the hotel room where she and her two year old twin siblings, were asleep in the southern Portuguese resort town of Praia da Luz on May 3.
There are similarities. It is the same newspaper that received the letter. It is also the month of June again.
Will this anonymous letter lead the investigators to little Madeleine's body or is it just another hoax.
