Jun 2, 2007 - Terror Plot Thwarted At JFK Airport - 1 comment
Four men have been charged in what appears to be a plot to set up a chain reaction of explosions using the jet fuel pipeline entering the JFK airport.
*DEVELOPING*
Only one of the four men has been arrested; authorities believe the three accomplices are overseas.
According to to officials one of the men may be a former parliamentary or governmental official of Guyana. Officials went on to say that one of the men may also have been a former JFK employee.
According to sources close to the investigation, the plan was to set off a bomb at the pipeline which would then set off an even greater explosion that would utilize the released jet fuel.
More information is scheduled for release at 1PM eastern time today.
