What happens when a 59-year-old who's just undergone prostate surgery sprinkles his viagra pills on his oysters in the hopes of speeding up his recovery for the bedroom?
Apart from the necessary lift, he gets a brain wave: what if you could feed viagra to oysters for a doubly potent aphrodisiac?

George May, a Marketing exec from Australia decided this idea might just work. So he approached a bunch of oyster farmers and said:

Why don't we feed oysters viagra and make an ultimate aphrodisiac?

The "boys" liked the idea and jumped on the bandwagon, figuring that if they could patent and export the product to the Asian market, it could be worth 220 million dollars.

So how could this work? Well,

Oysters are filter feeders, so they grow by absorbing nutrients in the water. The farmers harvest the oysters and transfer them into tanks of Viagra-infused water.

and already tests are showing the active ingredient in viagra, sildenafil citrate, is indeed present in the new sexy oysters.

So now the farmers have registered the name "Viagra Oysters" but there's a big wrinkle in their plans. Pharmaceutical giant, Phizer, is none too happy about the name of their product, "viagra" being used and are threatening legal action if the farmers don't deregister the name.

But Phizer probably doesn't have too much to worry about anyway as

... the NSW food authority says it's unlikely Viagra Oysters will be approved for sale in Australia. Viagra is a prescription drug and therefore oysters containing traces of the drug would not be permitted for general sale.

But if indeed it does get approved, maybe the farmers should just keep everyone happy and use a slogan (as suggested by photo) like:

OYSTERS PLUS: keeping it HARD DOWN UNDER
