George Michael In Court For Drugs

By KJ Mullins     May 30, 2007 in Entertainment
Yet another star is on trial for being drugged behind the wheel.
George Michael's drug court case was heard in London today. The "Careless Whisper" singer was found to be guilty of driving with a drug cocktail in his system.
The former Wham! singer is no stranger to the court room when it comes to drugs. His criminal life has been as documented as his singing career. In 1998 he was arrested for lewd behaviour. Now he waits until June 8 for his sentencing on the most recent conviction.
The singer had a drug store in his system when he was found slumped over his steering wheel at a traffic light last October in London.
Some of the drugs cruising through his blood were GHB, cannabis and an anti-depressant. GHB is a favorite on the club circuit.
George Michael was not in the court room today while the case was heard.
Earlier this year he stated that the world would be a better place if more people smoked cannabis than drank alcohol.
