Laundry Room Thief Caught With 1,300 Pieces Of Lingerie

By Laura Trowbridge     May 28, 2007 in Crime
A Colorado man has been arrested for stealing over 1,300 bras, panties and pantyhose from women who used public laundry facilities near Colorado State University.
Chih Hsien Wu has been identified at many of the scenes where the women have had their unmentionables stolen.
Police are asking women who have lost their lingerie to come sort through the collection Wu has stolen to see if they can find their missing undergarments.
One woman from CSU said, "He was in the laundry room when I came back to switch my clothes from the washer to the dryer. He just kept his head down and wouldn't move, so I kind of had to scoot around him and I thought that was kinda weird. I didn't notice until later that all my undergarments were missing."
She found ten of her panties in Wu's collection that police confiscated. Police would like more women to come forward to identify their missing lingerie in an effort to strengthen the case against Wu.
