Phu Luang Cliff frog in Thailand changes colors
A new species of frog was discovered in Northeastern Thailand, it changes color like chameleon.
They call this variety Phu Luang Cliff frog after the national park where it was found and lives. This frog can grow up to 3.5 inches (8.9 centimeters). Has a naturally green body but can turn into brown color.
Tanya Chan-ard, curator of Bangkok’s National Science Museum, told Associated Press, the scientists found this rare frog in elevated heights of 3,280 to 4,291 feet (1,000 to 5,000 meters) above sea leave in mountain waterfalls and creeks.
The frog was discovered a few years ago, but the scientists are only evaluating now and trying to find why the frog changes colors.
