LeBron James came back just in time to make sure the New Jersey Nets couldn't. James, who had a long stint on the bench with foul trouble, scored 23 points, and the Cleveland Cavaliers advanced to the Eastern Conference finals.
LeBron grew up on his way to his rematch vs the Pistons. This series was a tale of 2 stars. LeBron came into his own and snatched the mantle of superstar and shed the "potential" jacket.
Vince Carter with his 11points heard boo's from the Jersey crowd in most likely his final game as a Net. Coming from a Toronto native, all I have to say to Jersey is .. I told you so.
Carter had only five points in the first 22 minutes when one fan screamed out "Hey Vince, are you here tonight?'' He had four more before halftime when the Nets closed to 53-38 when Bostjan Nachbar made a 3-pointer as time expired.
Vince is never ever gonna equal the talent he was perceived to have and could go down as one of the most overrated players of this era.
He will be a Free Agent, and because it just makes sense, I see Vince in a Knick uniform.
LeBron and the Cavs are on their way to certain defeat by the PIstons, but this one is going to 7 and King James is ready to show off his crown.
