There are a multitude of possible causes for sexual dysfunction including weight gain, menopause, poor nutrition, stress and psychological factors. Those problems alone can cause bigger problems in a marriage or relationship.
Pharmaceutical companies compete to come out with the next best pill to solve the problem like that, but others are convinced that a more natural approach will work just as well.
The Daily Mail reports that dark chocolate, fish oils and carb-control diets work well. While Marrena Lindberg, author of "The Orgasmic Diet" suggests increasing fish oil, which contains dopamine, to increase serotonin and that "feel good" factor. This solution has proved successful in the past because serotonin increases the ability to handle stress, gives us more energy and regulates our appetite. Lindberg also warns to stay clear of caffeine, cigarettes, sugar, starch and other stimulants.
