Love either one or hate them both, no one can say that these two characters aren't outspoken.
Much like Rosie O’Donnell, at least in terms of not holding back what he thinks, Donald Trump had some scathing remarks for Rosie when he recently talked to Greta Van Susteren. He talked about Rosie leaving "The View" and he also commented on her much discussed display at a recent women’s luncheon.
Rosie made a gesture and a remark in front of an audience, which included young women. Greta said it was
“crude” and felt it shouldn’t have done made in front of adults, much less kids. She went on to say,
“I think probably the real crime is that she was supposed to be this role model for young women, and that was her display.”
Trump picked up from there and said several times that Rosie is self-destructive. He said she is ill, as in mentally ill, and that he predicted she would self-destruct and now she has. He continued, stating that she’ll
“get picked up” by someone else but will continue self-destructing.
The Donald went on, admitting he is at least somewhat happy she’s leaving The View, but that he also finds it –and Rosie- to be sad. He called her a
“sad figure” and stated that he believes Barbara Walters is happy because she
“has that big slob off her back.”
Rosie has had some choice words for Donald Trump as well, but one particular gesture and two words she used in reference to Trump have likely not been used previously during luncheon in the famously elegant, Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
