article imageWolf chased cars

A wolf was chasing cars on a country road near Brimson.
Steve Peterson is a conservation officer. He started receiving calls that peoples cars were being chased as they drove down a country road by a wolf.
He thought when he went to check it out he would find a German shepherd or a joke but instead he found he was watching a full grown male wolf chasing cars like a dog chases a car.
The wolf would hide in the ditch until a truck or car drove by, then he would jump out of the ditch and begin running after the vehicle.
So Peterson attempted to drive by and the wolf did the same thing to him. So he stopped the vehicle and the wolf just stood and looked at him for about 90 seconds and then walked away.
Peterson said "He hung around for a minute or 90 seconds and then walked off. I haven't heard any more reports since then," "I don't know if it was protecting some food or what. I've never seen anything like it. I've seen turkeys and ducks and geese chase after people's cars, but never a wolf before."
Wolves normally stay away from people and cars, unless it is our own community wolfman. Wolf anything you want to be telling us?
Maybe he just wanted to play. I am glad he was not hurt while attempting to do this.
