Seattle police say several threatening phone calls have been made to members of the University of Washington gymnastics team by a potential stalker.
The University of Washington gymnastic team may have a stalker.
A 20 year old female student on the team called police after she received several calls to her private cell phone. The man knew her name and told her exactly what she wore the night before when she walked home from a friends house. He had every detail right down to her shoes.
The caller said "If you don't want trouble, don't go out of the house today,"
The woman does not live on campus so the Seattle police handled the call.
Now the University of Washington police are now involved because they feel the same man called 7 other women on the gymnastic team.
The callers number comes up as a private number on the caller ID.
The coach has met with them all and has advised them on safety and spoke to them about precautions that the girls should take.
Both police are now investigating this and are treating it serious because they are unsure how this person was able to get a hold of private cell phone numbers.
