Parents who claim that an award-winning film on climate change is inaccurate and politically motivated are threatening a legal challenge over the Government's decision to send it to every secondary school.
I couldn't agree more. That movie is politically motivated AND inaccurate. Not too mention that Gore is a hypocrite.
Alan Johnson, the Education Secretary, says he wants teachers to use the film to stimulate discussion among children about climate change and global warming.
The parents have a point about this amounting to political indoctrination. Might as well start showing toddlers Bill O'Reilly. He could do a whole Mr. Rogers thing.
"Hello boys and girls, today on the Factor..."
Keep this stuff out of our schools and actually let these kids come to their own informed decisions about these things, by teaching them.
We go through school, not to learn...But to learn HOW to learn..
