A massive hailstorm hit south of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Monday that caused a lot of damage to crops and livestock.
A hailstorm hit an area that is about 125 kilometers from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and it took many residents of the area by surprise. Reportedly, there was a lot of damage caused to both property and to livestock.
There are even reports that several calves bled to death after large hailstones hit them on the head.
Saudi national Suwayid Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Batil, a native of Al-Zulfi Governorate, says that he had never seen a storm like this before.
Abdul Hadi Al-Abdul Hadi, Supervisor of the Desert Station in Taimaa, said that the station followed and monitored the weather conditions.
Hafr Al-Batin was also a witness to the hailstorm and said that some of the hailstones were as big as footballs
