Felon tells how he ripped off IRS.
A man that is serving prison time explained to congress how easy it was to make money by ripping of the IRS. The 28 year old male made over a million dollars in the process. The man admitted to being a criminal already when he decided to start making money by following advice he found on the Internet explaining to to get quick tax returns and he made over three thousand dollars in a few days.
By using identity theft he made over forty thousand dollars the following year and he was keeping each tax refund request under five thousand dollars. He also had a conversation with an employee of a IRS call center to check the status of a false return and confessed to the employee about his crimes. The man was arrested two years later.
