Disney is worried because Keith Richards will be in the next 'Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End' movie.
Keith Richards and Disney.
I would never have thought to see these two names in the same sentence. But unbelievably they are. And Disney is now worried about his image.
He does not help himself improve that image by making off the cuff remarks such as his latest " I snorted my dad" leaving many to believe he just might have done it. A thoroughly strange remark. Shocking ? Well. Yes it actually was. And one that for myself I truly do not want to dwell on. And then later saying it wasn't true.
His accident list is unusual also. In one of his most recent ones in April of 2007, it was reported that he followed the urge to climb a coconut tree at the age of 62, and falling and then waiting two days to get a scan of his brain. He later said at a press conference that he didn't fall from a coconut tree that it was actually a very large shrub.
Another unusual incident involved falling off a ladder while getting a book in his library. That time he ended up hurting his ribs and chest and a scare that he had also punctured a lung during the fall, thankfully he hadn't this was in 1998. It stands to reason Keith should keep his feet firmly planted on the ground.
Keith's appearance in the newest "Pirates" movies has Disney wondering
'How are we going to spin this?'"They are saying he will not be doing a lot of publicity for the film though. And I can see why he shouldn't.
Why is Disney worried now when everybody around the world knows of his oddness. The man has survived himself and that alone should tell Disney it is doubtful that his latest comment no matter how outrageous and crazy will hurt the movie unless it is poorly done.
He is a work of art, mayhap broken at times, but a real work of art. How else do you think he could have survived as long as he has ? And produced one of the worlds best guitarist along the way.
I will be interested to see the new, 'Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End' movie when it comes out.
