Canadian man arrested in India for sex offenses

A Canadian man has been arrested in India on a warrant that dated back to 1996.

Earnest Fenwick Macintosh, 49, has been arrested in New Delhi on Friday. The India police arrested him and are holding him in custody until Monday until an extradition request can be obtained.

Macintosh has been wanted in Canada since 1996 on sexual crimes that date back to 1970.

He is facing 43 charges that range from indecent assault to gross indecency all between 1970 to 1975.

No other information is available at this time.

It does. That is where the offences took place.
Caught yes, however he is not home yet. Arrested in India is far from being convicted in Canada.
