article imageCanadian MP presents petition to protect the legendary Bigfoot

By kurtrat     Apr 5, 2007 in Entertainment
Edmonton MP Mike Lake presented a petition in the House of Commons on behalf of a constituent who believes Bigfoot exists and needs legal protection.
Todd Standing, 33, had his Bigfoot petition signed by approximately 500 people. Todd claims that he has 12 seconds of video footage that proves Bigfoot exists. He has put it into a 30-minute documentary.
He calls his movie Sylvanic, a derivative of a native word used in southern British Columbia to describe the "shadow guardians of the mountains."
Standing says that the fact that his petition will now be considered by the government is a "huge victory."
Standing said: "Now that we're in the nation's business, people are going to start taking me seriously."
Yes, they certainly will be taking you seriously.
