Sanjaya's had his share of publicity, now its his sister's turn!
Just as I promised, there would be another scandal for American Idol, and soon.
This one's reminiscent of the Antonella Barba photos that surfaced before she got booted from the show. For a time, Barba was the second most searched for on the Internet, right behind Britney Spears.
Now, sexy photos have surfaced of the sister of Sanjaya Malakar, America's least favorite Idol wanna-be. Shyamali Malakar, who was featured on the show's audition segments, didn't make it to Hollywood. Her brother did, and every week he somehow stays on the show.
From wacky fauxhawk hair-dos to a Myspace blogger staging a hunger strike in protest, Sanjaya has no-doubtedly done wonders for the show's ratings. Though judge Simon Cowell claims he has no idea why Sanjaya is getting voted through, would they really send home a singer who gives them so much publicity?
The photos that surfaced of Sanjaya's sister in a Hooters outfit and another photo of her naked hiding behind a guitar mysteriously showed up at the perfect time -- right when Sanjaya's fame had hit an all-time high and was probably going to pique if show producers didn't act fast.. As I said during the last scandal...I believe these "stories" are a string of publicity stunts disguised as something different. I can't wait to see what the next one will be!
Want to be Shyamali's friend? She has 2600 of them so far. Find her Myspace page at: http://www.myspace.com/shyamali
