Disney workers among 28 arrested for using web to solicit children for sex

Polk County Sheriffs set up a sting for those who solicit sex from minors. In the week long undercover sting there were 28 men arrested. The Sheriff's department said they will continue to go after these predators who are after children

The 28 men were charged with soliciting sex from a minor. Three of the men arrested were employed by Disney. "We take allegations of this nature seriously,'' Disney spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez said in an e-mail. "When we receive confirmation of these allegations, we will take appropriate action." There were a number of agencies that worked together on this sting. It was set up at a Polk County home where the men were arrested. Undercover officers chatted online with the men. The men thought they were talking to a boy and girl who were 13- and 14-years-old. The predators were told that their parents were going to be gone. The three Disney employees ages, 21, 55 and 43 have been charged with soliciting a minor via the Internet and attempted lewd battery.
