Among the 15 UK navy officers who were captured by Iran, 2 were shown on a Iranian television.
Royal Marine Capt Chris Air and Lt Felix Carman were shown separately in front of a chart of the Gulf, where the Britons were seized on 23 March.
It was known they were inside Iranian territorial waters said Capt Ayre. He also said he understood why Iran was angry. The Foreign Office described showing the TV footage as "unacceptable".
He explained how the capture had happened. He said: "Approximately about ten o'clock in the morning we were seized - apparently at this point here from their maps on the GPS they've shown us - which is inside Iranian territorial waters."
Britain denies Iran's claims that the UK crew was in its waters and is demanding their "immediate" return.
Iran people as such as students were very angry with the British words. They had already attacked the British embassy and protesters were chanting "death to Britain".
This is really creating a poison atmosphere. Hope all should be released safely.
