At the end of this 1972 Dan Rather newscast on the Nixon Republican machine, we see a young Karl Rove talking about bringing the youth into the GOP fold.
As many have pointed out, Rove was already knee-deep in dirty politics back then.
This is a wonderful story from AlterNet about Karl Rove when he was a young 19 year old lad aiding the Republican cause.
A CBS video shows Dab Rather doing an investigative report about he upcoming elections and we see an interview with a young 19 year young Karl Rove.
As the accompanying article reveals, Rove played a political prank when he was young whereby he sought to disrupt a political campaign (he ultimately failed) by using some questionable methods.
If you want to see a young Rove (with a full head of hair) demonstrating some of his political tricks for which he has become famous for in recent years, check out the video.
