An Everett Washington man who ran a web site about little girls said he considers himself a pedophile. But that he has never touched a child.
A 45 year old unemployed man that lives with his parents said that he considers himself a pedophile but that he has never touched a child.
The web site had voyeuristic pictures of little girls at family events. He said he considers himself a pedophile but that he has not broken the law or done anything wrong with a child. He admits to being attracted to young girls but that he has never touched or did anything illegal with one.
He would go to family events around the area and take pictures of little girls. He then would post them on his site for other perverts to see.
The only thing he admits to doing is pushing the envelope of the First Amendment.
Parents complained to the police over the years but there was nothing the police could do.
One spokeswoman for the police said "Offensive as we find the Web site, there's never been any evidence of a crime or even suspicion of illegal activity,"
The website stegl.org is now shut down but he had it up and running for a few years. The name stood for Seattle Tacoma Everett Girl Love. It is shut down because the host of the site, Network Solutions, took it down because it violated their policy.
He said when he was asked if it was morally acceptable for him to have a fascination with young girls he replied um, I don't see the problem with it as long as you're not hurting children."
He is not sure if he will put up another site.
I would think taking pictures of children without the permission of parents and posting them would be against the law. I guess I was wrong.
