Greece was successful in securing an ancient wreath after the battle of ten years in a bid to restore Parthenon marbles.
An ancient wreath believed to be dating back to Alexander's time was returned to Greece after a long battle of 10 years. The wreath is beautiful work a confection of realistic leaves and flowers made of gold foil.
Greece has started a campaign to restore Parthenon marbles. Greece wants British Museum to return the Elgin, or Parthenon, Marbles. Greece claims that they were stolen from the country and belongs to them.
It would indeed be great to see the past glory being restored.
